Although hijacked for political and other purposes in recent years, the rainbow still ably stands on it's own to speak directly to each of us of beauty, redemption, promise, and spirit - after a time of rain. Eventually we all settle down and in retrospect see that life has over the years offered us an endless rainbow of choices and paths we can take. Jerry Hester and Gary Nelson are long time friends as well as singer-songwriter-musicians who have played their music at various intimate venues in and around southern California. They compose in whatever musical style fits the mood of the song. Pop, Light Rock, Country, Americana, Folk, what have you. This album offers musical variety, from fast moving rough and tumble 'Rattlesnake Hyde' to nostalgic and tender 'Lace and White Satin', from a more moody and jazzy 'Endless Rainbows' to the light rock of 'This Big City', you're sure to enjoy listening to this collection of original tunes.
