Description

12:13 in Highland Park on CD

Produced by Gabriel \'Frontrow\' Rowland and officially released on July 12, 2008, \'12:13 in Highland Park\' was recorded between October, 2005 - February, 2007 at Gabby Rowd Studios in Highland Park, CA. The album features Henry Bermudez on guitar/vocals, Derock Goodwin on bass, and Gabriel Rowland on drums. The band\'s leader, Henry Bermudez, is a 27-year-old Los Angeles-born guitarist/singer/songwriter who currently plays in 3 other local bands (Strangely Attractive, the Evangenitals, & Unpopable) and has performed on dozens of independent recordings within the last few years (Cactys Fire, Salon K, Alyson, The Other Side of Morning) . His main influences are the classic rock and blues (Led Zeppelin, Robert Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix) he heard while growing up in the United States, as well as the diverse sounds of Latin folk music (marimba, bolero, bambuco, zamba, cueca, huayno) he heard while in college at UC Berkeley & while living/studying/traveling abroad in Central and South America. As a live act, the Henry Bermudez Trio has been performing regularly and increasingly since January, 2008, with Chris \'Mo Magic\' Gongora on bass and Phillip \'Drummer Flip\' Vint on drums. Their ultimate goals are: 1) to tour both nationally and internationally as much as humanly possible, and 2) to continue recording great music.
