Agave Serenade EP on CD

Harrisen is a NJ-bred artist who has made a name for himself and a following within the NYC club circuit. Harrisen's 2003 release, Agave Serenade EP, under former label Hitopia Records, has received critical acclaim. Harrisen's debut brings a soulful blend of acoustic rock, multifaceted lyrics and mulit-layered guitars into this power-packed five-song EP. And the new 2005 release 3-song sampler CD, Foreword Fix, is sure to follow in it's footsteps and beyond. The feature single, Union Square, is aptly named after the area in NYC which has provided Harrisen such inspiration. Other songs such as Prophecy and Never Say Goodbye provide a rejuvenated perspective for Harrisen's creative exploration. 'The best result from my whole journey so far has been the fact that I haven't been judged by listeners for anything else but the music. But at the same time I would like to think that I've given some additonal hope to asian artists to pursue music and develop themselves as artists If they really want it, go and get it, which is exactly what i'm doing now. Music is really a passion for me which affects every part of my life so I try to make music that is true and real. I've had many people come up to me after shows and thank me for doing what i do because it sets a good example for young asian and non-asian musicians. I'm just so glad my music has appeal across all groups. Asian artists are becoming more familiar and popular in the public eye. The progress is amazing and i'm so happy to see it finally happen. In the end, I care about the result of my work because it's a direct reflection of me. It's what matters most. I'm so excited to see what happens next. Peace...'
