You Only Rent the Beer on CD

You Only Rent The Beer album was inspired by Toby Keith. I had already written the song entitled 'You Only Rent The Beer', quite a few years ago, and my son Derek had written Texas Bar Blues a while back, when he was 15 years old. Now he's in his early 20's. So that was a good one to put on the album. Harry Eckert of Wuttzi Tuttzil Music had co-written a couple with me, so I just had to write a few more to fill the album. Naturally after drinking that many beers, I decided to add the last song entitled 'I Fell In Love'. It's a fun album with lots of real scenarios for anyone that drank beer and wine. The styles range from country, to country rock, with a little in mind for everyone. Even a little bluesy style country with Closin'In On Me. BIO ABOUT ARTISTS: Derek co-wrote his song with Steven Tsimiklis back when they were playing the local outdoor concerts for free. Derek met the famous Smiley Bates, while he was visiting me here at my home.Smiley Bates was to record a song called 'Daddy Tried', but died before that took place. Derek at the time adopted some of Smiley Bates style of guitar picking. He was around 15 at the time. Derek and his brother Neil have just finished their first video. I've written songs with quite a few writers and have many songs in my repertoire. I've written a lot with Harry Eckert of Wuttzil Tuttzil Music. He's affiliated with BMI, and my affiliate is SOCAN of Canada.
