Destroyer/ Creator on CD

GRND_0 initially started as a side project to Hellfire BC by George Droulias (Guitars, vox) within the year 2003. By May 2004 James Apostolou (Drums) joined in to help in the recordings. After the sudden split up of Hellfire BC they decided to turn the project into a full scale band. By September of the same year they recorded 'Earthbound Consistency' a promo CD which contained 8 tracks recorded in a house in the country. It's overall sound result, as anyone can easily imagine, is muddy and powerful with many lo-mids, something that was intended in order to reflect the whole concept of the lyrics. Fortunately Chris Droulias (bass) helped in the recordings injecting his jazzy ideas and playing throughout the songs. After a year they are planning their return with a full length studio album containing 9 songs of technical progressive extreme metal music. For this reason Lambros from Innermost came in to record the main vocal tracks. The new album is finally completed and entitled 'Destroyer / Creator'. Generally GRND_0 overall music style is a unique combination of death metal and elements from black metal and classic heavy metal soloing, deeply influenced by bands such as Death, Mayhem, Nevermore, Bruce Dickinson and many other unlike to each other, although these influences are not detected in their songs.
