Live on CD

Glen M. Simpson (Alto Saxophonist) born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, studied music in the Kosciusko City Schools, Jackson State University, Mississippi, Rason Roland Kirk School of Music Theory and Composition, San Francisco, California (teacher Jim Grantham) and the legendary Joe Henderson (his mentor), in San Francisco, California. In Addition to Glen's own unique compositions like 'Time is Now', 'Shep, Shup, Shup, 'Shibop', 'Horn Man' and 'A Universal Prayer, he blasts classic jazz tunes like 'Hitting the Jug' - Gene Amons, 'Bessies Blues' - John Coltrane, 'Bemsha Swing' - Thelonious Monk', 'Oleo' - Sonny Rollins, and 'My Little Suede Shoes' - Charlie Parker, with precision. His music is classical with jazz roots and culture. Music with international flavor and attraction - theoretically 'in order' with movement and authentic flow. Glen has performed live at the famous Bluesville Club (Jack London Square) in Oakland, California, Old West Recording Studio in San Francisco, California, AMA Recording Studios in Gulfport, Mississippi, many other venues and is still active! To Jazz Music Lovers Everywhere: 'May the Spirit of the Creator of the Universe be with us ALL' -- Sincerely, Glen Simpson.
