We Ghetto on CD

Bio Coming straight out of Newark, New Jersey is "Ghetto Official," the next big thing in the music industry. They've moved 50,000 units and show no sign of slowing or ceasing. A remarkable southern style with a northern flavor is the catalyst for this venture. Founded in 2001, "Ghetto Official," consists of, Skillz, INF, Montana, Sick, Tipz, and Lucky. These six invaluable members' ages range from 17 to 29, each adding their own uniqueness. Skillz produce, unquestionably, the hot club banging beats, INF brings the fly- talking Jay-z and Fabolous flavor, and the pretty boy, Montana, though young in age, contribute hard-hitting rhymes, Sick style is reminiscent of Busta Rhymes and DMX, Tipz, the hustler, has his own signature style, Lucky handles the business aspect of the group. They started recording demos and selling mixtapes only two years after the group's conception. "Ghetto Official's," music is influenced by Jay Z, Cash Money, Three 6 Mafia, Jadakiss, Dipset, and Russell Simmons . The group's inspiration is founded on the unforgettable hardships they endured while growing up, and as such, they appropriately chose to convey their thoughts through music. "We Ghetto," which happens to be their current album, depicts life in the streets. In their first single "You Ghetto" the trials of growing up in the ghetto are discussed. This single is definitely a song that most people can relate to. "Urban but universal" best describes this music, so be on the look out and remember "Ghetto Official."
