Fucius : Benevolence EP on CD

Paul Wong aka 'Fucius' is an electronic musician / producer that got into music at a late start of age 12 when he got his first ghetto blaster. Followed by friends that got him into buying underground music and then dee jaying. When Paul got his turntable, the first thing he did on it was scratch using the sample 'Check This Out' from a classic house record 'Can you feel it - Royal House'. He went on to doing parties for various functions such as high school dances, dee jay competitions, banquets, parties for friends, house parties, garage parties, parties at McDonalds (yes, he flipped burgers there for one summer and from what he remembered Mc Dee employees were always the best crowd to play for!). Paul's musical influences range from all types of musical genres including Hip-Hop; Swollen Members, Public Enemy, Sweat Shop Union, Run DMC, DJ Krush. Drum & Bass influences: Bad Company (UK Drum & Bass group), Teebee, Aphrodite, Leon Switch, Hive, DJ Dara. Techno/House influences: Tricky Disco, Nightmares On Wax, T99, Cubic 22, Eon. Rock: Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne, AC/DC, 3 Doors Down, Three Days Grace, Linkin Park, Oasis, Led Zeppelin, Scorpions, Ray Charles (His Rock Stuff). Paul loved to play for the crowd, he moved them with his mixing and scratching routines and always wanted to do and be more than just a dee jay. It was then he decided to get an education in music production only to drop out after the first semester because he felt he could teach himself if he had the equipment. At that point, he worked a lot and saved his money to invest in his own recording studio. With whatever spare time available he learned the equipment, software, recording and composition in finding his own style of music and production. Having completed a number of tracks to his satisfaction, Paul aka 'Fucius' is now ready to unleash the sonic storm of his music to the unsuspecting world.
