Ghetto Pleasures on CD

Brace yourselves for the latest phenomenon to break onto the Hip Hop scene. Freak Dogs is a New York based rap group comprised of two members: Slick and OT. Slick is motivated by a belief that today's music scene is lacking and Freak Dogs is just the group to fill the gap. He was initially fascinated by musical instruments, such as the drum, and in the process of nurturing that medium of creativity, a related area of interest arose... Hip Hop. OT (Off Top) is musically inspired by Old School Hip Hop and he is propelled by a deep and profound love of music, and Hip Hop in particular. This love affair with music goes back as far as he can remember. Initially, OT was a solo rap artist and after spending some time away, he returned and realized that the rap scene had drastically changed. He began working on his album an enlisted Slick to help him make the needed commercial adjustment. Slick was always involved in music and his assistance led to a permanent partnership because these two men complement each other in style and in ability. Both men strongly feel that what the music industry needs most right now is more reality and less sugarcoating. Their blatant honesty is most obvious in the titles of their group and their album. Their name, 'Freak Dogs,' refers to a person who has a certain amount of popularity based on experience with the opposite sex. Through 'Ghetto Pleasures,' Freak Dogs attempt to share some of the duality of the life as they know it with the world at large. Life in the ghetto can be tough but it is not restricted to hardship. Freak Dogs want to show the pleasurable side of this life which is marked by fun and one of the most basic experiences of life... sex. This sexual fun is deeply embedded in their music and the honesty portrayed in 'Ghetto Pleasures' reflects the type of honesty that can be expected of their future contributions to the Hip Hop genre. Freak Dogs want to make a musical and lyrical contribution to the Hip Hop genre. Why? Because it's necessary! They are committed to creating good music and raising the standards for musicians. Their goal is to create music that has universal appeal and the key to their success is their ability to produce an album where every song is a single. Their sound appeals to men, women, children and adults and it seeks to correct some of the mistakes made in the music industry. It's a tragedy when a consumer buys a CD and is disappointed because only one or two songs are enjoyable but Freak Dogs promise to deliver on each and every track. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!!!!!
