Storm Is Rising on CD

Fortune Hunter is the twin brother musical connection today. Tom and Kirk Hunter on guitar and drums are joined by a wide variety of musical guests to expand the horizons for one CD. Recorded and mixed in Marin, California, 'Storm is Rising' reflects the Bay Area's diverse musical roots. Producer Marco d'Ambrosio adds his creative flair to keep things polished. 'Storm is Rising' bases itself in a storm theme where the CD's three parts mirror nature's mood swings. The Calm then The Eye and finally The Passing of the Storm. Smooth jazz over acoustic rhythms then bluesy and classic rock followed by positive reflection. You will have to listen to this One a few times to catch all it's flavors. The Calm features the sax and flute talents of Jeff Cravens keeping things smooth like an island breeze. Acoustic guitar with fretless bass and percussion support the flow. David Fair brings his vocal and lyric abilities to crank things up a notch in The Eye. Look Out - Rock and Roll with several twists. Lead guitar, electric violin, and keyboards add to the mix. The Passing gives us time to reflect on how lucky we all are. A look back at what is really important in all our lives. Thank you Mari and Marisa for your spiritual voices. 'storm is rising'... The epic storm - thunder, wind, rain, and lightning. A traumatic, destructive experience, often fearful... yet it brings us water, and like love, water is the essence of life... for stronger are we after this weathering. Thank you God for your message and the supportive love of those affected.
