Bite of Autumn Chill on CD

Trying to find a way to categorize Forest Green Tuesday is nearly impossible. They're a band that can turn a catchy blink-182-esque pop-punk treat out like no one's business. They can hit like a hard rock freight train. They can pen a romantic love song to catch your heart as if Shakespeare himself were in the room. They are, in short, a pain to pigeon hole. The band was founded in 2001 under the name Firestorm by Joe Steinbach and Mike Chambers after their previous band, Seven, fell apart. Soon enough, Scott Young was brought on board to round out the lineup, and so it was until 2003, when Scott left to pursue other interests. Though they tried, Mike and Joe reluctantly put their project on the shelf. In early 2004, Scott returned to the band and it was rechristened Forest Green Tuesday-a name as hard to classify as the boys themselves. Yet, once again Scott was forced to leave the band, only this time enter Branden 'B' Johnson-a friend of the band more than willing to lend a hand when needed. In early 2006 FGT released 'The Bite of Autumn Chill'-the long overdue follow up to 2001's 'Platinumb.' 'Autumn Chill' contains 14 songs, striking home themes from love to war; from suicide to freedom. Now, that Scott has returned yet again (and hopes to make a more permanent stay), Branden hasn't been dismissed- instead he'll serve as a second guitarist adding yet more flavor to an already briskly unique sound. Word has it that FGT is already working on their next album, tentatively titled 'Seven Months 'Til Eternity.' If you enjoy the music, feel free to add FGT as your friend, or to tell your friends about them. They promise to be nice and not steal your lunch money. The band is always looking for shows and will always play for a good cause. If interested, please contact forestgreentuesday@yahoo.com for more information.
