Reset to Zero on CD

Flake is a high energy, hard rock/metal band from Fullerton California. The three piece band puts out a huge sound that is hard not to watch live. Flake is the brain child of Mike Flaker, who is the guitarist and vocalist of the band. Mike is from the New England area and moved to the Southern California area in the 90's to pursue music. Roy Santa Cruz is the drummer who hales from the Los Angeles area and has been playing drums for most of his life. Justin Boo-Dro is the bassist and vocalist from Lafayette, Louisiana who moved to Southern California in late 2006. Since August 2007, Flake has played over 50 shows throughout Southern California including Las Vegas, NV and Tempe, AZ. Flake has been heard on Lancaster's rock station 100.1 The Edge in April of 2008 when they were the headlining act at The Trap for their Summer Bash. Later in June of 2008, Flake would return to 100.1 The Edge to be in the studio for an on air interview with Jeff Duran. In June 2008, Flake celebrated the release of their debut CD entitled Reset to Zero when they had their CD release party at the Viper Room in Hollywood. Reset to Zero has been getting a great response from their fans and have done well with the CD sales at their shows. Since, the release of Reset to Zero, Flake has received write ups in the Daily Titan witch is the daily news paper from Cal State Fullerton. Flake also has been reviewed at shows such as the Boom Bash and got another write up from all access magazine. The write ups are strong witch fuel the band on. Flake has a technique and style of their own, and have been influenced by such bands as Chevelle, Dream Theater, Down, Rage Against The Machine, Pantera, He'd pe, Fear Factory and many more.
