Spielzeug on CD

It's hard to imagine how good the combination of bass clarinet, trombone and accordion sound until you've heard the pieces on this CD. Spielzeug, the latest incarnation of new music specialist Fie Schouten, shows these instruments at their best. The music is seriously playful and playfully serious and new works by Moro and Mukarno challenge the recordings of classic Hosokowa, Grisey and Wolff. Performers: Fie Schouten - (bass) clarinet Marko Kassl - accordion Koen Kaptijn - trombone Tracks: 1. Lichtzwang, ein wutendes Spielzeug (2002) bcl/acc/trb - Hector Moro 10'50'' 2.
