Music to Wash to
- Artist: Feathergun
- Format: CD
- Release Date:3/18/2003
Feathergun is a melodic rock band. Blending elements from classic rock bands and previous jobs, these gentlemen have left their respective cubicles to serve up a tasty helping of hooks. Musical comparisons include Cheap Trick, Weezer and Foo Fighters, with vocal styling reminiscent of Lenny Kravitz and Elvis Costello. Yet all comparisons fall short to embody the true essence of Feathergun. Feathergun introduces the terms 'Cubicle Rock' and 'Power Point Pop' to describe it's unique sound, inspired by their days spent working in the corporate world. With a groove this janky and a style so catchy, the Gun is sure to make you smile all the while. Sam Lewis, a Chicago native, moved to Los Angeles with a pocket full of sugar sweet pop numbers and a pair of beach sandals. This ex-drummer gone guitarist/vocalist claims it was time to step to the front lines and deliver the rock. Catch Feathergun live for an experience you will surely not forget... Feathergun are one of the hardest working bands out there, hitting the club scene hard since self-releasing their full length record 'Music to Wash to'. Feathergun have shared the stage with touring acts such as Copperpot, Stonecake, Admiral Twin, Hellride (Mike Watt, Stephen Perkins, Peter DiStefano), Wonderlove, the Serotonins, Stereo360, the Dollyrots, Piper Downs and Stickfigure (Jack McDowell).
