As the Animals Make Their Way Through the Crowds on CD

From a small town outside of Windsor, Ontario, Explode When They Bloom was born. The story started years ago, with singer/guitarist Jay Ouellette and drummer David Allan rocking through grade school in a Metallica cover band. After playing the worst rock show that could have ever happened at a grade school graduation party, the boys parted, not even being able to speak to one another till years later. It was dubbed "The Show That Should Not Be". Fast forward to 2006, Dave's band at the time had broken up and Jay left York University, coming home to Canada's most southern town, where the two would reunite. The boys pumped out their first release "The Bedtime Sessions" EP that summer. They would continue to play southern Ontario with Jon Hopper covering bass duties. Two years of writing, recording, gigging, remixing, drinking, adding new bass player Aaron Lynn (putting Jon on second guitar) and a million things in-between the boys have released their first full length As The Animals Make Their Way Through the Crowds. A passionate rock album with the highest highs and the lowest lows. With punchy rock guitars weeping hook after hook, a vocalist that howls and coo's at the same time, and an explosive rhythm section that just won't quit, Explode When They Bloom is looking to take themselves to new heights. The band looks to make great songs that are memorable and accessible to any pair of ears, but at the same time have enough experimentation to stir the pot of any music buff. In the end Explode When They Bloom wants you to let loose, scream your head off and remember what rock n' roll is capable of.
