Creation on CD

DL Turner is a dynamic and versatile performer, and recording artist. A creative and innovative musician and composer with a unique style that covers a wide spectrum of talents, he played for 15 years as harpist for the famous Mayflower Hotel Sunday Brunch in Plymouth, MI. Other Michigan venues include the Fox Theater, the Athenian Hotel in Greektown, and the Fox and Hounds in Bloomfield Hills. His stunning instrument, appropriately named the 'Rose Crystal,' is a one-of-a-kind hand-crafted, semi-grand, electric, forty-string lever harp, hand-painted with roses, vines, and hummingbirds. In early 1999, DL Turner and Nancy Ruth Holtzman put their musical talents to work by creating Celestial Harp & Flute, an elegant musical duo for formal occasions, specializing in original contemporary harp and flute music flavored with latin, jazz, classical, and celtic influences. In 2002, the duo relocated to Bonita Springs, Florida. Since it's inception, Celestial Harp & Flute has performed for countless private parties, wedding ceremonies, receptions, concerts, formal affairs, grand openings, and various corporate events. Current venues in the SW Florida area include: Ritz Carlton, Marco Marriott, Marco Beach Ocean Resort, Olde Cypress Country Club, Verandah Country Club, Copperleaf Clubhouse and Shadowood Country Club in The Brooks, Grandezza Country Club, Vasari Country Club, Gulf Harbour, Casa Ybel, Cape Harbour, Vanderbilt Inn, The Classics Clubhouse and Player's Club at Lely Resort, Edison-Ford Winter Estate, The Registry Hotel, Naples Princess, Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, and playing for the movie stars at the Marco Island Film Festival.
