Deep in Heart: Big Songs for Little Texans / Various on CD

Bismeaux Records is set to release it's "Deep in the Heart: Big Songs for Little Texans Everywhere" CD on September 25th, featuring an all Texan-artist lineup singing their favorite children's songs to benefit the McLane Children's Scott & White in Temple, Texas. Featured artists include Pat Green, Stoney LaRue, Randy Rogers Band, Aaron Watson, Reckless Kelly, Jack Ingram, Jason Boland, Asleep at the Wheel, Bonnie Bishop, Fred Andrews, Cory Morrow, Josh Abbott, Cody Canada and more! The project was born in Houston, Texas, during a benefit concert in 2010. Co-producer, Brett Danaher brought up the fact that he and his wife thought someone needs to make a children's album with Texas artists. So Brett and co-producer Clayton Corn, both longtime members of Pat Green's band, started asking around to find artist who would be willing to participate. The response was overwhelming. "As for the record itself, we didn't have a "family band" per se, but what we did have was an extended family of Texas artists, many of whom have children, that were willing to graciously donate their time and talents to this project," says Brett Danaher. "They are seriously big hearted folks that we are proud to call friends. "
