Dan Keeley is a singer, song writer, and composer and is one of Bob and Nina Keeley's 15 children. He has been the music minister at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church in Roanoke, VA. for the past 12 years where he directs three choirs, composes and arranges. Dan and his wife Donna have been married for 14 years and have three children. Music has been a big part of Dan's life beginning in high school where he was singing in a group called Sing Out. He then went to college and received BA and MA degrees in vocal performce. Dan has also been in several musical productions, i.e., Jesus in 'Jesus Christ Superstar', 'Pirates of Penzance','Godspell', and '1776'. Dan has performed all over the world in the international group, 'Up With People', and has played in several bands in California and Virginia. Dan has recorded two CD's which are entitled, 'Internal Progression' and 'Straight From The Book'. Dan's music ranges in style from soft ballads to energetic contemporary christian. Contemporary Christian music has become a very strong and positive influence in Dan's family. In fact, his wife Donna and his two girls, Laura and Kate sing on the CD. Christian music (Gospel) touches the hearts of all ages and helps everyone to nurture and strengthen their faith. It also strengthens the overall attitude of accepting whatever God has in store for us in our families and in the relationships that we develop with people we meet on a daily basis.
