In the Storm on CD

Hello, I would like to introduce myself, I am a independent artist from Benton Harbor, Michigan and have put out my first CD just this past year (2006). It was a venture to say the least, since I had never actually wrote any songs before. I knew that I had it in me, but never had took the time to do so. I have always been fond of music and have been ever since I was around 6 years of age. My first guitar I owned came from a second hand store, it was a "Stella" all I remember about it, was that it was real hard to play and someone had painted flowers on it. I guess it was real fitting seeing how it was the 70's. I taught my self how to play guitar, I spent many a hour playing along with records and cassette tapes. It seemed like my musical ability really showed up in High School. My buddies and myself would always enter in the "Amateur Hour" but never won a single contest. Personally I think that they already knew who was going to win. I have been in a couple of bands throughout the years mostly playing gospel Bluegrass music, the latest band I played in was "Uphill Climb". The people I attribute my slant of music to would have to be Bob Dylan and the Beatles particularly the late George Harrison. I am a strong advocate of world peace and think that if everyone would take the time to think things through, that just maybe, people might get along better. Peace to All Dale Nafziger.
