Tatuada on CD

Cynthia has been singing since she was very young. Even back in kindergarten, she always particpated in school concerts. Whether it was playing the little orphan "Annie" or taking on another role, she always seemed to shine. Throughout her life, she continued to sing and perform in local churches and participating in various productions which were created and directed by the music and arts director in her local church. 'Tatuada' is her first CD release and one that has alot of meaning to her. 'Life took a different direction than what I had ever anticipated. When I started to record this CD I was singing about my experiences.' Tatuada signifies being marked by the one and only Jesus. A story of a woman that falls in love with Christ and decides to give Him her all. After a year filled with alot of pain and alot of learning experiences, Cynthia was able to put all her energy and life lessons into this CD. 'El me levantara' the song that Cynthia is closest to, speaks of being able to hide all one's imperfections, mistakes and faults in the wounds of Jesus."I always knew God's calling on my life was true and clear. It was being patient and learning to lean on the Lord to see me through. That was the biggest lesson I had to learn." She delivers her songs with a sultry, jazzy voice which shows off her gospel roots. There is so much feeling in every note and word which is sung.
