Description

Macho de Monte Suite on CD

Cienfue is an alternative rock artist from Panama influenced by Panamanian folklore, shamanism and social lyrical content. Inspired by Latin American lore and revolutionary roots (The devil's hat he usually wears is a tribute to the 'diablicos sucios' of Panama's folklore), Cienfue has toured Colombia, Cuba, Venezuela, Ecuador and Costa Rica in the past year. Cienfue's second album 'Macho de Monte Suite', was released early 2008 and received 4 out of 5 stars in Rolling Stone Magazine. The first two videos, 'Macho de Monte Suite' and Terroristas Tercermundistas' climbed up to the number 6 spot for the 10 most wanted list in MTVla. 'Macho de Monte Suite' achieves a much heavier rock sound than it's predecesor 'El Disco es Cultura', while still drawing heavily from Panama's folklore...
