Who and What is Chris Meza? I was brought up listening to all types of music commencing hip-hop /R&B to Salsa and much more. At about the age of 10, my soul fell in love with the guitar... and started dinking around with styles such as flamenco also known as 'Classical Guitar From Spain'. Further on, came different styles and decided that I should try to adapt several genres. As time passed, I determined that it was that moment in time to search for a band...but living in such a diminutive town, there was not much of an opportunity. Being from the state of Oregon, I found it difficult to find other musician's with Latin influences, yet having the same strive for music. However, after progressing in music, and maturing as a person, I knew that it would have to be done on my own. Since then, I've built a strong fan-base around the Northwest and I'am becoming well known to the Latin Community. I've been slowly getting on radio stations, and at the same time doing performances on television. With a few albums under my belt, I took on a five month promo tour in Mexico, and had some success. I'am now back in the U.S, working on my new album that is set for a tentative date around Febuary 14th, 2009. Despite all the hard work, promoters talking you down, dj's cutting you off, security trying to fight you, radio stations being shady, friends/fans turning on you... I keep catching a glimpse of sun light at the end of the the road; I believe I'm getting closer to it everyday. Feel free to check out my music, ask questions? Positve and negative feed back is always welcome... although I never complain about chocolate. :) Cheers to all my Friends, Fans And Family who have supported my decisions and have kept faith in what I do. Last but not least, I want to thank whoever is reading this, at this very moment. I appreciate it.
