You Cant Outrun the Radio on CD

Chris Eric is a singer/songwriter, mixing heartfelt lyrics and a blend of acoustic contemporary, folk and a hint of country. Chris's biggest influences include the Kingston Trio, Jewel, Todd Snider, The Beatles and Buddy Holly. Since 1993, Chris has released 8 albums including 5 cds in the last 10 years. 3 of those include most recently, Confessions From The Heart, 2008, You Can't Outrun The Radio, 2005 and Sunday Speedtrap in 2000. In 2002, the song 'Things life brings' from the Sunday Speedtrap CD peaked at number 60 on the U.S. folk chart on mp3.com. It maintained a number 1 status on the Washington State Folk chart for over 13 weeks. Chris has performed over 900 concerts since 1993 and has been honored to perform at some large venues including The Evergreen State Fair, Yakima Folklife Festival, Barnes and Noble and Seattle's Alki Beach 4th of July Celebration. He has opened for Capitol recording artist Judith Owens, Bill Haley's Comets and National Touring Artist, Sweet Fancy Moses. His schedule, both solo and with his group, Sunday Speedtrap includes regular appearances at the Renton River Days and the Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival. Chris also performs all over Washington State at coffee houses, festivals, bars and night clubs. 'A highly recommended performance. Well written songs, a very smooth professional presentation. Not to mention people love them!' Doug Mays - Promoter & owner of Face the Music Productions 'An eclectic and unusual combination of catchy beats and unique rhythms. Their original songs are entertaining and the show is first rate, we felt blessed by their collective spirits.' Don Buxton - music coordinator of Fircrest school 'Chris Eric & Cari Ann of Sunday Speedtrap replaced Randy Miller on New year's eve at O'finnegans when his basement flooded. Sitting in for Randy Miller, these guys sounded pretty good. Catch them if you can when they are in your area.' Bar scenes entertainment guide for Seattle 'A blend of rock and country, flavored with jazz and a toss of folk for good measure. It's almost soothing.' The Herald, Snohomish county newspaper 'The music is mellow, and they are incredible people. Their sound crosses several types of music including folk, blues, pop and a hint of country. It's a beautiful sound that is pleasing to listen to. A type of music every one of all ages can enjoy.' Erick Kayser - Producer.
