Chelley Odle on CD

Chelley Odle has been singing since the tender age of two years old. Singing nearly her entire life, it is no surprise that this powerhouse vocalist has a powerful music ministry as well. After finding GOD as a teen, Chelley gave the gift of her vocal ability to the the LORD to be used as a vessel for his purpose alone. Chelley has had the opportunity to open for such acts as The Crabb Family, Crabb Revival, Austins Bridge, and Gold City and has performed with Crossway and Crabb Revival. God has opened doors for Chelley to acheive a life long dream of releasing a professional solo project of her very own. Allowing her to work with songwriter/singer Annie McRae along with Nashville producer Tre' Corely, with Oak Tree Productions, that dream has now become a reality. Chelley's self titled debut album was released in October 2008 with a CD Release concert including performances from friends, Adam Crabb and Crabb Revival, along with Aaron and Amanda Crabb. Two tracks on Chelley's new debut album was used as the theme music for the 2008 ICM Awards (Inspirational Country Music Awards) held in Hendersonville, TN. God has even greater things in store for Chelley as her first radio single 'GOD Is In Control' has reached the TOP 20 on the Christian Country Charts. 'If Chelley Odle weren't singing songs about Jesus, she could be on the R&B charts, with her smoky alto voice and soulful styling. On this album with electric piano, organ, and big drums, she delivers one stirring number after another from swampy to sophisticated, from tender ballad to driving rock, she delivers them all with power. This electronics-rich album has an earthy, deeply human vulnerability that makes it so inviting, so loveable. Chelley really knows how to pick songs, gleaning the best from writers like Annie McCrae and Sue Smith. The songs fit her voice and her faith, and that's an unbeatable combination.'- Joe Johnston,PowerSource Magazine Jan/Feb Issue 2009.
