Before we begin, let me take a moment and thank you for investing precious moments of your life to consider my Art and world with me. I ask you now to let go of your soul and take hold of mine. I am Cameron James and this is my spirit. Documenting my story prior to any pop culture significance may be considered bold. For me, this project is just another medium to express a dynamic existence while attaining a sense of oneness with you. The goal here is to be as true and real as possible. Before any so called experts have a say; let me set the record straight once and for all. My path like your own has been filled with big beautiful barriers to enjoy within this iCameronJames.com Twist Of Fate "Memoir." The endeavor will focus attention to my past, inward and beyond. The beginning of each chapter will be a song. Thereafter, an attempt will be made to share personal thoughts that led to scripting words along with a blind confidence of recording a voice to match. A naive burning passion fuels my belief that the underlying message is vital. The great philosopher Confucius wrote, "Music rises from the human heart, listen carefully and you will be touched by the sounds and silence that lies between." As a self releasing Lyricist, Recording Artist, Executive Producer and Author; my world is in a constant state of fascination. A liberated state of mind has found clarity through creativity. Recently, I pressed the pause button of life which has provided a new perspective. Soon, the official drop date for the two bodies of work will come. Over time, the "Interactive Albums" will launch into our twenty six billion light year across universe like a supernova combustion becoming stardust. The great Ben Franklin said, "If you put your message into a song, people will remember it." The ideal format for completely appreciating music and literature is by setting aside the time to review both simultaneously. Together, the "Interactive" literature provides a resonating sense of overall meaning. For the record, my compilation makes me the: FIRST EVER ew Artist "To Debut 2 Separate Albums On The Same Day.' The Twist Of Fate "Memoir" is a stand alone concept. This journal is a FREE bonus that conveys my authentic place in our world. Likewise, TwistOfLove.com precedes a distinct path. The "Rockumentry" screenplay is a FREE bonus that shares a fictional Rock Icon's dramatic struggle. Hence, we will see whether or not people are still interested in reading for pleasure. The release of both Albums should realize my goal of crossing over boundaries of Progressive Folk, Country, Pop, Soft Rock, Alternative, Independent, Blues, Soul and Soundtrack. My confidence in the quality of both is evident. On this note, I am willing to offer any of my esteemed lyrics to be covered by a singer or band for favorable terms well below industry standards. Either way, I created this master opus for my own enjoyment. Although this book pays homage to the radio, I am not expecting airplay as my payola pockets are more open to the Internet medium. Might the old adage "Tell a friend" result in Album sales? I hope you can appreciate my words as much as I have enjoyed the building process. Not sure when it all began or when it will end but somehow I have had the good fortune to be born, exist and flourish through a most interesting time. Because one of my foremost passions is learning, it is only natural that I strip my own essence and explore. What allows me to take on this task is a sense of humbleness, pride and hope. I just might have finally figured out what my vision of continual true happiness is and in return am working on a logical plan to achieve it. The preparation and timing of this deep autobiography attempts to showcase how this point was reached. Together, we progress towards the next important step prior to a full scale release of these insightful tales. Anonymity may someday be exchanged for an influence that is too often titled as fame. I am not looking to be a fleeting star but rather a great soul. The ultimate result of this exercise will be a pure expression of freedom. Bottom line: If you do not define yourself, someone else will. I have constructed thoughts with the ambition of Mark Twain, dedication of Henry David Thoreau and passion of Ovid. I do not miss much as I take it all in, store it and review life like a movie. Few people really get to know this mind of mine, yet when I speak it is typically something concrete and with substance. At my best, I have a charming presence however can be considered too serious and misunderstood. Some people claim to "Think out of the box," I am of the opinion that there is no box, never has been one and never will be one. If I were to be another creature, I would be an eagle.
