Bump Kitchen is a place to mix, blend and cook smooth soul, fierce funk with a dash of blues and a sprinkle of nasty groove. Stir until you get a sophisticated funk of original music sound. The Bump Kitchen Staff: Everett James - Drums, Percussion, Vocals Everett a native of Harlem, picked up the sticks at age 8, they never left his hands since. The Head Chef of Bump Kitchen, Everett has shared his powerful musical talent with a thunderous power. His raw energy got him Voted Drummer of the Millennium 2000 by the Tacoma Blues Society. Everett's travels around the country have brought him to the stage and studios of many legends all the while gathering the recipe to make Bump Kitchen cook!! Jho Blenis - Guitar, Vocals Jho is a veteran northwest musician who is nationally and regionally known for his guitar wizardry, song writing skills and showmanship. His passion for performing is amplified to all those near him and breathing life to the kitchen. Jho won the prestigious Bluesman of the Year 1996 and has jammed along side to many great musicians to list. Jho writes the menu that's served in Bump Kitchen, sorry no substitutions. Tony Harper - Lead Vocals, Percussion Tony grew up in the City of Angels. Singing, playing bass or keys, groove naturally runs through his blood. Tony's first stop in his musical trek was with cousin, Seattle's own Antowiane Richardson and his cappella group The Main Attraction. In 1991 Tony joined Seattle reggae band The Groove later joining with Sax player Steve Munger's band Mothers Friends. After recording a few CD's with the above mentioned Tony eventually found his way to Bump Kitchen. Life is Good Mark Bittler - Keyboards Mark has been playing music since the age of 3. He has played professionally for 30 years, from jazz, pop and blues, the bands and styles of music has varied over the years. The past few years Mark has been music director for the Mary McPage Band. Mr. Bevens has played with hard hitters such as Mike Japp, and Northwest rock and blues guitarist Steve Stefanowicz. Joe also has collaborated on many projects with his longtime friend Everett James. Beside a good reach out and smack ya across the face bass line Joe is also fond of motorcycles, good food and of course women....
