Golden Floaters on CD

Recorded on the beach at Erin Rye Studios in Englewood, Florida in the winter of 2009. People had been asking me for years for a copy of the title song when i'd play it macrobiotic conferences so it was with great satisfaction that it was completed and is now available. The songs are mostly a light-hearted look at macrobiotics which gave me the tools to take control over my health using whole natural foods. I wrote all the songs over several years and recorded this album for myself, my macro friends and for my teachers, many of them Japanese who braved coming to America after the Second World War to spread the message of peace and bring the gifts of the macrobiotic diet and the 'magical spectacles' of yin and yang. I've been studying macrobiotics for 22 years and once lived for 2 1/2 years at a study center in northern Calif and taught classes there. I recently lived in Florida for 17 years and work mainly as a mental health counselor and but have also made part of my living playing guitar and singing as one-half of a duo called the 'Killer B's' with Bill Bullard who passed away 2 years ago after surviving for 11 years with a liver transplant. I am now live in Asheville, NC and have recently split my time between here and Sarasota, Fl. as I am a licensed counselor in both states. I was raised in Nova Scotia, Canada, learned to play guitar at age 16 and paid for my first lessons with 2 dozen eggs from my step-dad's chicken farm. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Wishing you a long life of health and happiness and endless 'golden floater' days.
