Ten Shades of Green on CD

In September 1978 Bobby Mackey opened his own night club in the greater Cincinnati area. Bobby Mackey's is located in Wilder, KY. For the past 26 years he has been a local icon in the entertainment business performing his style of Country music with his Big Mac Band. Through the years, Bobby has released such hits as 'Hero Daddy' and 'Pepsi Man'. Some of the biggest names in country and bluegrass music have appeared at the night club. Bobby Mackey's is also known for some paranormal occurrences. Douglas Hensley has written a book entitled 'Hellsgate' documenting the fact that the building is haunted. The numerous ghosts that are said to inhabit the night club have attracted national atten-tion with segments about the club appearing on television shows such as: Ghost Adventures, Sightings, Hard Copy, A Current Affair, Real Ghosts, Beyond Chance, Geraldo, Jerry Springer and Sally Jesse Raphael. Bobby Mackey has always been known for his traditional sound and for sticking to the roots of country music and it's his dedication to the traditional music that inspired him to add a new twist to his entertainment. Dennis Hensley of Jordan Recording Studios in Covington, KY called in some of the best bluegrass musicians in the business: Adam Steffey, Michael Cleveland, Clay Hess, Ben Isaacs, Billy Rose and Tom Adams. Bobby recorded what he calls some of his best recordings ever and was delighted to have Rhonda Vincent, her brother Darrin, and Sonya Isaacs join him in the studio to share their great talent on some songs such as 'Ashes of Love', 'Ten Shades of Green' and others. Bobby has formed a band he calls 'The Pine Hill Pickers' and is now playing bluegrass shows and enjoying every minute of it. He would like to present to you a copy of his new bluegrass CD 'Ten Shades of Green' produced by Adam Steffey.
