A child's plastic toy robot with innocent sirens, flashing lights and sparks spewing from a harmless gun spins and haphazardly rolls to your feet. As it sparks and spins and gleefully announces in it's robotic voice it is alive, you stoop to pick it up surrendering to it's playful allure. As you level your eyes with it's red-blinking pupils you suddenly know this simple object of fun is showing you the most important truth you will ever know. Bloodshot Revival, armed with plastic robot guns, shoot sparks of electric aural decisiveness down the catatonic spinal chord of modern art-pop jolting the kids awake from their pretentious American melodrama. Like a polka dot war machine of another kingdom frolicking in a sun drenched field, Bloodshot Revival has declared their intentions of a violent invasion of love, honesty, hope and truth in our obese decrepit consuming homeland. With writing from that obscure part of the brain that is aware of the heart, this eclectic group of New Yorkers are strategically maneuvering themselves to take over the world. Bloodshot Revival was born, like all good things, on the Internet. Five artists caught in the World Wide Web found themselves separately, yet all at once longing for something diversely creative beyond their own capacities. Craigslist looked generously upon the young men and blessed their pursuits. A few cold ones and some months later placed these artists in a dilapidated studio in New Jersey grinding fingers to the bone on their first three song EP. The boys built the better mousetrap and the world did beat a path to their door. With opportunities vying for attention, Bloodshot Revival had more on their plate in six months than most bands do in a year.
