'... An endearingly oddball sense of humor.' - 'All Things Considered', NPR 'Totally winning in it's goofiness ... there are going to be some families who absolutely love love love this disk.' - Stefan Shepherd, Zooglobble.com 'Imagine if Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld wrote lyrics for all-ages music played by an acoustic Weezer. I cannot recall a funnier, more intelligently conceived debut family record.' - Jeff Bogle, Out With the Kids 'A blockbuster! Clever, fun, great pop melodies, hooks & humor. This CD is on my Top 10 for 2009!' - kids music rock star Yosi Levin, on his blog Indie Kids Rock 'A super set of indie rock songs for kids ... Breezy, slyly humorous tunes ... Super duper children's music debut!' - Warren Truitt, Kids Music That Rocks '... a School-House-Rock feel that's super fun ... vast appeal for kids and adults alike.' - Common Sense Media 'A 1-2-3 punch of catchy tunes, witty lyrics, and songs that are fun for the whole family ... This one easily lands on the list of best kids' music of 2009.' -About.com Thank You for Joining the Happy Club (or TYFJTHC for those who enjoy awkward acronyms) is a pop, rock and roll superparty for the kids! Ten happyhappyfunfun songs about milk, pine cones, springtime, a snowman, whistling, guitar solos, humming, fingers, old what's-his-face, 18-wheelers, the moon, you, and other stuff. 9 of the songs are by Billy Kelly and one is by Talking Heads. See if you can tell which one is the Talking Heads song. (Hint: song #6.) Hope you looooove it! Billy Kelly got his first guitar when he was 15. He got his first guitar string about 6 months later, and went from there. Within 3 years Billy Kelly had all 6 guitar strings, at which point he began saving up for a guitar strap. To make a long story short, Billy Kelly is now 38 years old and he writes and sings songs for kids, and for kids' parents; and for kids' parents' parents (kids' grandparents) and for kids' parents' parents' parents' (kids' great-grandparents). Billy's songs are also for former kids (adults) even if they are not parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents. Some animals also seem to like Billy's songs. 'Don't deliberate or discuss with a loved one. Just get it and love it.' - Jeff Bogle, Out With the Kids.
