211 Vernon Street on CD

The summer before 5th grade we moved into our new house at 211 Vernon Street. I had two younger brothers named Brian and Scott. We had a mother, a father, and a cat named Puff. Eventually we also got a dog named Boots. The house was part of a small development in what was once farmland. Today the entire area is single family homes. I started 5th grade at Jefferson Grade School and also started alto saxophone lessons at the same time. In high school I started to play simple songs on the piano. Reluctantly, he agreed and we went out to buy some new Radio Shack condenser microphones. Later I gave him only one mike because I wanted to record with the other one once I bought a tape deck myself, but that is another story. So, with me at the piano and Brian on his new tape recorder, we spent the next few days recording music. That is the music on this CD...
