Super Live on CD

SUPER LIVE is Texas blues mixed with 70's jazz fusion a la Miles Davis and Weather Report. It's the third release on Zam Records and is an in-your-face live recording of three exciting musicians not afraid to go for it. Guitarist Chris Young is a graduate of the U.of Miami music school and recently recorded with Richard Bona on the Universal label. Chris Young has toured with Richard Bona (Universal ) as well as Angie Stone (J Records) and Japanese saxophonist Sadao Watanabe. Drummer Jano Rix is also a graduate of University of Miami and has toured with Liz Wright (Verve) and is currently a member of the Gabe Dixon Band. 'Rix is in league with the best drummers in the world and is easily compared to The Police's Stewart Copeland and Carter Beauford of Dave Matthews fame.' (The Nashville All-Stars Spotlight) Rozz Zamorano is a bassist that has recorded with the Fondue Monks out of Houston,TX and has released two solo CD's on his label www.zamrecords.com Chris and Rozz have been playing together for over 16 years and native New Yorker Jano Rix and Chris have been playing together since their college days in Miami. The idea for the project was to take a no-holds-barred approach to documenting the live chemistry between three musicians with a long history. Originally planned as a studio recording, the trio decided the tension of having a live audience would add an exciting edge to the performances.
