Alabama Sky on CD

Bent Creek Bluegrass Band has been around for about 10 years now. The current band has been together for 7 years. We are a bunch of crazy ole' bluegrass pickers who love to pick n' grin. One of the highlights of the band is Casey Murray, a banjo prodigy (just don't tell him we said so)! He came straight out of the baby bed with a banjo in his hands. He is the youngest in the band and the only one with a sponsorship. He is sponsored by Deering Banjos. We are real proud to have him with us and we think he is the greatest banjo player in the world. Casey Lambert, a man of many trades, is the lead guitarist and lead/harmony vocals for the band. He was demoted from the band's electrical engineer because he cross-wired the battery on the bus. He now serves as Chief Porta-Toilet engineer. We are still glad to have him with us though. Keith Maddox is the comedian of the bunch. The biggest member with the smallest instrument, Keith plays the mandolin and sings lead/harmony vocals. If you're ever around Piedmont, AL, be sure to stop by K&M Express Lube, that's were Keith spends most of his time. He'll be glad to change your oil for you. Eddie Murray, or as everybody else calls him, Casey's dad, plays the upright bass and sings harmony vocals for us. We're real proud of Ed, because if we didn't have him, we wouldn't have our banjo player (they come as pair). Ed is also the booking agent for the band, so if you have any questions about bookings be sure to send him an e-mail and request booking info. Last but certainly not least, Terry Penny, the man who plays rhythm guitar and no vocals at all. It was once said by a wise man, that Terry is the only man that can hide behind a microphone. We love Terry Penny! And we are glad to have him with us.
