Won't You Give Him a Chance on CD

Bd Stouder was raised as a child in a Bible believing Christian home with a strong emphasis upon living a life to serve God.As a teenager he began to rebel against his Christian roots while striving to pursue his hopes of a career in rock music as a guitarist/vocalist/songwriter.Years later he teamed up with a childhood friend T.Menner (excellent vocalist and inspired BD to record) to form an acoustic classic rock duo which performed several years in Pennsylvania and Maryland.During that time period BD began to examine the emptiness and failures of his life, struggled with alcohol dependency, and realized the need to recommit his life to Jesus Christ. After getting back to his Christian roots BD has focused upon writing, performing, and recording Christian music that emphasizes the validity of God and his ability to provide hope and security that is eternal. This album features songs with catchy hooks and lines that will become embedded in your mind if you listen to them a few times. The song AUTHOR OF LOVE is written about BD'S mother and her committed belief in the daily power of prayer,God's ability to answer prayer, and his never ending love for her.Bd Stouder wrote this song to honor and dedicate to his mother and her spiritual impact upon his life, but she died 3 days prior to it's completion.Bd Stouder played the song at his mother's funeral, knowing how much she loved music and how much it epitimized her life.(church pianist and choir singer for many years)In the song WON'T YOU GIVE HIM A CHANCE BD writes about the need to give God a chance to prove he is real, that he knows our problems and needs, and to not be deceived by empty or temporary substitutes the world has to offer in place of him.BD's 5 song album features melodic, harmonious, and orchestrated guitar work along with smooth vocals characterized by frequent harmonies throughout.Angela Stouder(a clean and clear voice that sounds like a Christian contemporary Karen Carpenter) sings the lead vocals on I'M Sorry Lord and backup vocals on Won't You Give Him A Chance. WON'T YOU GIVE HIM A CHANCE-Bd Stouder.
