EP3K on CD

Hey foks, you can visit our website and check out a lot about us. Including a great video for our song 'Americanized'. But in the meantime here is the stories behind the songs on this CD: 'AMERICANIZED' The idea for Americanized came to me when I was hanging out in a hotel room in Dublin, Ireland (after driving across the country for a friends wedding). I was just observing a completely different country and culture vs. America. It inspired me to create this somewhatsarcastic observation of life as we know it here. 'YOU MAY BE RIGHT' It's funny but really the first song I learned to play on guitar (this was at guitar lessons in Largo, FL growing up) was Billy Joel's 'You May Be Right'. I've had that little intro riff instilled in my soul since way back then. When we started recording sessions for this project, the producer Scott Mikell mentioned he'd always wanted to produce 'You May Be Right' and thought we were the band to do it with. I flipped out. I've always loved this song and getting a chance to do it in my own way has been a real treat. 'OFF MY BACK' This may be hard to believe but I was married for 10 months the year before last. Needless to say it wasn't a fun experience. I think those daily experiences of misery manifested themselves to me in the basic premise of this song 'whatever gets you off my back!'. Now, don'tget me wrong, I'm not against marriage. That gal just wasn't the right one! 'MAINLINE' Every record needs a good song about a troubled hottie. (We have lots of them.) This particular one reflects my continued frustration in getting the nerve up to actually go and talk to oneof them! I think 95% of the guys out there feel this way.
