Anthem; as defined in Webster's eleventh standard edition, is as follows; "a highly addictive sound that affects the culture it embraces, And thus; pop culture is changed forever". Formed in 2004, Central California, Anthem delivers the tour de Force in every way imaginable. Sound, Image, Direction. Founded by the likes of one Irish/English vocalist/guitarist Terry Coleman, who legally changed his name to Anthem as a persona, and as a way of life. Joined by Turlock-born bassist Kyle Cabral, and Madman Jason Davis on the skins, the Anthem sound is a wall of modern music containing elements of Rock, Alternative, and Power Pop. Influenced by the likes of the Beatles, Radiohead, Nirvana, Hendrix, The White Stripes, along with many other collective greats and contemporaries, Anthem believes they can bring back rock with their fusion of contagious and creative sounds. Anthem has already shared the stage with over ten national acts and has performed in front of thousands on numerous occasions live, and over the radio. While already having enjoyed radio airplay on several Clear Channel and College Radio stations, Anthem is no stranger to finding and conquering new territory.
