Music in My Heart on CD

Amasiah Bantan: A native of St. John's City in Antigua where he wrote songs while singing and playing his drum on the beach. The pleasure of creativity and the serene atmosphere was like heaven on earth. Amasiah, a religious man, lives by doing good for others. His talent had to take a break when he moved to the United States with his family and found out his mother was going blind. Amasiah then took a construction job and bought a house in the Bronx for his mother and family. After eight years, Amasiah got hurt on the job and he felt his life was going backward since he could no longer work and support his family. His Bible reading every day restored his faith to know it was time to move on to his love for music. Now on disability, Amasiah has time at home to write, sing, and develop his talent while caring for his mother and young nephew, going to night school, and volunteering at church to help others in need. His good heart, personality, and gentleness radiates warmth to all he meets. Amasiah gets inspired by listening to Bob Marley, King Short Shirt, John Lennon and by watching Tim Duncan play basketball. Songs that make you smile, dance, or grab you emotionally are ones people will buy because in some way they can relate to what the song and performer is saying. He knows that with faith, the right people who believe in doing good for others will come into his life to help him with his career. Amasiah's motto about songs: Style will change over-night, but a good melody and lyrics will last forever. You can always change the style to fit a good melody and lyrics.
