Eternal Punishment on CD

Acantha is a group of four dirty headbangers, hailing from western Canada with one common goal. That goal being to slay the asses of all headbangers while correcting the worlds misconception of what heavy metal is. In 2004 they began slaying the asses of all in their path, through countless shows and events throughout western Canada. In 2005 they recorded an 4 track EP that the band would soon forget. Much to the bands dismay, fans would not forget this so easily and it is still referred to on occasion. Acantha soon earned it's spot in the highest regards by promoters, agents, venues and headbangers alike for their busy stage sets and intense live shows. Opening for bands such as Unexpect, Bison B.C., Divinity, Anonymus and Arch Enemy, has earned them spots on Television and some of the most legendary clubs in western Canada. In the spring of 2008 Acantha entered Sontag Studio's with Recording Engineer Wes Sontag of Disciples of Power and Section VIII. With a tour in between recording and mixing, their first full length album "Eternal Punishment" was released in December of 2008. With their debut album receiving high reviews and excited reactions locally, it has started to gain attention nation wide. With the attention span of a dog in a room full of asses, they have already started working on new material, while touring to support their debut album.
