This comical story, based on the autobiographical novel by Corinne Griffith, features the unpredictable antics of railroad supervisor Jack Griffith, who gets a bit farfetched when he tips the bottle a little too much. Griffith buys his own drugstore just to insure that he and his buddies can swill it down on Sundays, and when his daughter Corinne wants a pony, Griffith buys her the entire circus. But Griffith's wife and older daughter find his feats embarrassing, and when Griffith sinks the family savings into the circus' debts, his family moves to Texarkana without him. Jack follows, bringing the circus in tow, but it'll take more than the three rings for Jack to win his girls back.
